Bimbadeen is situated on the Lower Nelson road, south of Mt, Gambier, in the lower south east of South Australia. Corriedales have been bred commercially by the Hunt family since 1921, along with Hereford cattle
The property is in a 700ml. Rainfall area, close to the southern ocean, with a temperate climate of wet winters and dry mild summers. The soil type is mainly Terra Rosa, with areas of sandy loam over limestone and some flint, as well as an abundance of good quality underground water.
