Our Aims

The Coora Corriedale Stud was founded in 1962 to breed the most productive commercial Corriedale sheep for use on the family property.

To do this, all pedigrees and commercially important traits are meticulously recorded and analyzed on an independently operated computer analysis (LAMBPLAN), to produce Australian Sheep Breeding Values (ASBV’s), and weighted indices for particular markets and flock structures.

Typical prime lambs out of Coora Corriedale cross ewes. The terminal sires used were Waratah White Suffolks.
