The Junior Judging Competition at the Royal Geelong Show

The Junior Judging Competition at the Royal Geelong Show was enthusiastically supported by a large group of students from Elizabeth Murdoch College and Woodleigh College and interested youth.

The competitors assessed the four Corriedale young rams presented and individually discussed their placings with Doug Deppler who was the overall judge. Following the judging, Doug Deppler spoke to the group and gave them some insight on improving their abilities to judge, by developing a system of approaching and appraising the stock on display.
The winners on the day, who received their prizes sponsored by ‘Englewood Park’ were

1st   Katy Lisowyk   Elisabeth Murdoch College
2nd   Steph Bechaz   Elisabeth Murdoch College
